Welcome to our blog!  Houston Homes has designed and implemented this blog to enable you to communicate with us and others in the home building business.  We are so fortunate to live in Oklahoma where our market is mostly untouched by the information that we hear on our National news.  It is truly a wonderful time to buy a home in Oklahoma and for that reason, we offer as much help to you as we have resources available.  Whether you are considering building a new home or buying one, there are so many things to consider.  You may have questions about how to get started...should I buy a new home or an existing home...what materials do we use in the walls....or what new decorating ideas do we have!  We are here to help!  

Kim and I are Houston Homes!  We are relatively knowledgable in the art of custom home building and have been in new home construction since 1995.  We have built many homes since that time, but of course, we do not claim to know everything.  If there presents a question or comment that is not within our domain, we will gladly confess to not knowing the answer and refer it to one of our reliable professional friends and associates for a better account of the answer.  Our intentions are to give you the most accurate and intelligent information possible.  Information is power!  We will help to arm you with all the necessary information you need to feel comfortable in your investment.
